Questions to ask Your Realtor before you sign up to work with them

When interviewing agents, take a few moments to understand their philosophy, results, and a bit about who they are & what’s important to them. Answers to the questions below can help determine how successful and fun your real estate experience will be.

QUESTIONS TO ASK Your agent

(along with our answers, since you were so kind to ask!)

  • 15 years and counting.

  • Full time since the beginning. We felt it is only fair, given the magnitude of the transaction for our clients, that they have our full attention!

  • We are honored to help about 50-60 folks realize their real estate dreams each year. This is largely driven by referrals from our past clients.

  • We love taking a complicated and often daunting process, and making it feel safe, simple and smooth for our clients. We love getting a front row to dreams coming true. And above all - we love the people we work with. Our clients are the most amazing people in the world.

  • We work very closely as a team, and we think it’s best for so many reasons!

    • We have more fun working together than we would alone.

    • When you work with a team who has fun, you will have a lot more fun by osmosis.

    • You’ve got 3 people working for you - which keeps things moving along efficiently for you. This can be a HUGE advantage in fast moving markets. Kelly in the office can line up showings or help answers questions for you - even if Robin or Caitlin are in another appointment.

    • More team members = more experience & perspective.

    • We are all working in our strengths. Caitlin and Robin aren’t behind a desk filing paperwork - instead they can focus on negotiations and the market. Each of us supports the others in providing our clients with the highest standards of service & expertise.

    • Your real estate adventure does not need to pause if one of us is out of the office.

  • Our focus always has been, and always will be: OUR CLIENTS. We pride ourselves on our ability to read & analyze market data - making us a valuable resource for our clients, wherever their dreams take them.

By focusing on our clients and their dreams, we have a broader pool of experience to draw from, when crafting negotiations or getting a property ready for market. In addition, we network with other agents across many different locations - creating further opportunities for our clients.

Keeping an eye on only one market segment, limits vision and impact - in our experience.

  • GREAT question. And certainly once that is best discussed in person, as the market is ever changing - and we don’t yet know your goals. Give us a call to chat! We’re here as a resource for you.

  • Twin Cities:

Taquerilla La Hacienda at Lake St & 4th Ave

    Boulder:

El Taco Imperial de Tlaxcala 2 - near the Boulder Driver’s license office.

  • Absolutely.

  • As a team of 3, we’ve always got your back. On the rare occasions all 3 of us are traveling for work at the same time (we attend a nation-wide real estate conference every year as a team) - we will have boots on the ground back up.

  • We sure do! Head to our Client Experience page to read what our clients have to say.

  • Absolutely. A handful of our sales each year come from our networking off-market channels.

  • Absolutely. Robin owned her first rental property at 24, and Caitlin at 27. It’s shocking how many licensed agents do not own investment properties of their own. Real estate is a powerful wealth building tool. We own investment properties personally, as well as help others build their wealth through real estate.
